It feels great to be this months Fitcamper!

I will stat by telling you Fitcamp is the last thing I ever thought that I would be doing and enjoying

every week. I have always been active playing sports or rollerblading with friends but never

really one to go out and exercise for me or for fun. Growing up I was always a bigger girl

weighing in at 250 lbs and a size 22 and have struggled my whole life with weight loss. I have

tried many different diets and successfully lost 80 lbs after high school. I managed to keep the

weight off until I had kids. After my kids were born I tried a few different things to loose the

weight and continued to yo-yo up and down and then I decided this time I guess I will try to

exercise. Sounds pretty straight forward exercise = weight loss right, well I was wrong. I was

attending Fitcamp regularly and although I was getting stronger and full of energy I was missing

one part of the equation, exercise + healthy eating = weight loss. Although I am still working on

the healthy eating part I have more energy than I have had in a long time and continue to grow

stronger and stronger every week. Fitcamp has helped me break out of my comfort zone and

work harder than I have ever before and every time I am ready to quit there is someone over my

shoulder pushing me forward. It has been a great journey so far and I cant wait to see where it

takes me in the future.
